Alex McCown
I found yoga in 2015. With it, I am able to live with more consciousness and gratitude. Free of competition (after being immersed in sports), the physical practice of yoga allowed me to let go and be mindfully compassionate with my own body and mind.
I completed 200h Yoga Teacher Training at Portland Yoga Project in June 2023. I look forward to bringing fun, exploratory movement practices to the studio, helping others to settle down and sync up with their natural nourishing rhythms.
When I am not at the yoga studio, you can find me working at the New England Animal Farm Sanctuary, playing outside with my dog, practicing Spanish, or hanging with my loved ones.
